Offices MJD are a leading supplier in the installation of all office air conditioning and ventilation systems. There is a need for air conditioning in todays commercial buildings as most modern buildings are completely air tight and filled with heat generating office equipment and lighting. To reduce the impact of the built environment MJD will provide you with heating, cooling, ventilation and control solutions that will match energy efficiency with complete flexibility of design and control. Our systems will be far more efficient than traditional methods of cooling and heating buildings, resulting in reduced running costs and lower carbon emissions. Our systems can simultaneously heat and cool different areas to balance energy use across any office space. We can even supply hot water from the same systems by reclaiming heat from areas that are being cooled.
- Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) or Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV): These air conditioning systems are typically more suitable for larger offices. They have one or more condensing units which supply a multiple of indoor units.
- Ducted units: These air conditioning systems are ideal where a controlled airflow is paramount, providing controlled airflow through supply air diffusers, providing a draught free environment for the occupants. These systems offer diversity where internal offices changes occur.
- Multi split: Air conditioning for office areas, this comprises a single outdoor unit supplying up to four indoor systems.
- Wall mounted: Air conditioning systems are ideal for most one-off or single rooms including comms rooms.
- Ceiling cassette: These units are suspended from the ceiling and give a 4-way blow. They are very good at distributing air across large offices.
- Under ceiling: These air conditioning units are also suspended from the ceiling and give a powerful 1-way blow.
Care Homes MJD has built up a client base within the care home industry installing air conditioning, ventilation and heat reclaim ventilation systems. Most homes have an independent heating system providing heating via radiators or underfloor heating with our air conditioning systems being interlocked to prevent both systems running simultaneously. Air conditioning is normally installed with the cafes, dining rooms, lounges, cinema rooms, activity rooms, bars, hairdressers and the main comms room.
All communal areas are supplied with heat reclaim ventilation providing the correct amount of mount of fresh air, whilst extracting the right amount of stale air, in the most energy efficient way possible. All air conditioning and ventilation systems are connected to a state of the art monitoring system which can be viewed on line , giving the end user total control over the care home facility from any PC, tablet or hand held device. The systems are capable of providing the client with alerts if the systems produces a fault, enabling us to log on line to check and despatch an engineer ASAP to reduce any down time.
MJD provides service and maintenance contracts to care homes nationwide. The contracts are designed to suit the client’s needs and vary from annual to quarterly services. Services will include filter changes or cleaning, operational checks via our laptops, full operation tests on cooling and heating. Refrigerant charge checks and F gas certification. In the unlikely event of a system failure our Engineers are always on hand to attend site within a 24 hour time frame. Five to seven year warranties are offered on all new installation projects.
- Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) or Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV): These air conditioning systems are typically more suitable for larger care home complexes. They have one or more condensing units which supply a multiple of indoor units.
- Multi split: Air conditioning for drug stores or medical rooms, this comprises of a single outdoor unit supplying up to four indoor systems.
- Ceiling cassette: These units are suspended from the ceiling and give a 4-way blow. Ideally these units would be installed in lounges and dining rooms.
- Wall mounted: Air conditioning systems are ideal for most one-off or single rooms, server/comms rooms and management offices.
Hotels MJD has built up a client base with many recognised hotel chains including Novotel, Ibis, Mercure and Village Hotels. We have been responsible for the supply and installation of energy efficient Mitsubishi Electric VRF Heat recovery systems along with Daikin VRV Heat recovery systems. Air conditioning has been introduced to the bedroom areas, providing simultaneous heating and cooling via ducted fan coil units installed within the bulkheads, providing heating and cooling through white linear grilles. Each room has its’s own individual controller enabling the room occupier to control his own temperature and fan speed all year round.
Air conditioning has also been introduced to public areas including the health clubs, restaurants, lobby’s, bar areas and various meeting rooms. All systems are monitored by centralised controllers managed by on the onsite facilities department.
Following each installation, the hotels are provided with a service contract to maintain the five to seven parts and labour warranty offered by MJD following any installation. MJD also offer a repair service on any original equipment that may have been installed, inclusive of all upgrades to the previous systems via our replacement technology inverter programme. Replacement technology allows us to utilise 100% of the original inter-connecting services.
- Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) or Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV): These air conditioning systems are typically more suitable for hotel bedrooms, function suites and communal areas. They have one or more condensing units which supply a multiple of indoor units.
- Ducted units: These units are fitted in ceiling voids within hotel bedrooms, leaving just the opening grill visible – an elegant solution where suspended ceilings are in place or plasterboard bulkheads.
- Ceiling cassette: These units are suspended from the ceiling and give a 4-way blow. Ideally these units would be installed in large open plan lounges, dining rooms, function suites and leisure centres.
- Wall mounted: Air conditioning systems are ideal for most one-off or single rooms, server/comms rooms and management offices.
Schools MJD are carrying out ongoing installations and service works in schools, nurseries and colleges, located in the home counties and London areas. Our installation works within the schools include classrooms, IT suites, assembly halls, library’s, gymnasiums and all staff areas. We can provide you with Business Management Systems and centralised controllers, which will enable you to control your climate from anywhere at any time. Choose between centrally or locally managed controls, set timer programmes and optimised energy consumption with our energy management tools.
That’s not all, our school air conditioning systems do more than just keep you cool in the summer, they can provide stable optimum working conditions throughout the year involving both heating, cooling, cleanliness and distribution of fresh air. Best of all, all our new air conditioning systems come with a manufacturers part and labour warranty, ranging from three to seven years.
- Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) or Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV): These air conditioning systems are typically more suitable for larger school or college complexes. They have one or more condensing units which supply a multiple of indoor units.
- Multi split: Air conditioning for smaller classrooms or school offices, this comprises of a single outdoor unit supplying up to four indoor systems.
- Wall mounted: Air conditioning systems are ideal for most one-off or single classroom requirements server rooms or staff offices.
- Ceiling cassette: These units are suspended from the ceiling and give a 4-way blow. They are very good at distributing air across large classrooms within schools.
